It makes sending Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) compliant notices simple, quick, and affordable. Use nombre to send single, multiple or bulk Notices of Claimed Infringment (NOCI) in seconds.
You can download the nombre extension directly from the Chrome Web Store (coming soon). Once installed, Pin the nombre extension to your browser toolbar, click the icon, and you're ready to flag infringing content using the "Flag Current Page" button.
The free version allows you to:
- Flag pages containing potentially infringing content
- Quickly draft Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notices (NOCIs)
- Send notices directly using your webmail (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo) or desktop (Apple, Thunderbird) email provider.
nombre works best with Gmail, however, it also works well with Outlook, Apple Mail and Thunderbird.

Our database of DMCA agents is constantly expanding. Occasionally, you may need to send a notice to a site we do not have recorded. If you would like us to add it to the database, email us anytime at:

In the free version, the "Send All" button is limited to 5 sites for performance reasons. Unlimited individual notices can still be sent one by one. Future premium versions will increase these limits.
We set a 25-page limit for performance and webmail compliance. Future premium versions will increase this limit.
The free version saves personal information locally on your device. We do not see, collect, or share this information. It is used solely for greetings and electronic signatures in email drafts. Future premium versions will include an account/profile system stored in our database.
To allow mailto links to open in Chrome and use Gmail as your default handler:
- Open Chrome and log into your Gmail account.
- In the address bar, click the diamond-shaped Protocol Handler icon.
- When prompted, select Allow to let Google open all email links.
- If asked whether Google can make a change to your computer, click Yes.
NOTE: The diamond icon disappears once you’ve allowed this setting.
